Une très belle découverte : Roufaida, jeune artiste originale et novatrice.

Marocco-néelandaise, elle mêle avec finesse des sonorités orientales et des instruments électroniques. Une musique poétique qui touche immédiatement !

Saluons son nouvel album « Coming Up for Air », qui mérite votre attention, renfermant des titres enchanteurs et très réussis. Comme elle nous le dit lors d’un entretien en visio : nous vivons dans un monde oppressant et la musique permet de respirer, d’attraper des bulles d’air pour ne pas étouffer.

Compositrice, auteure et interprète, elle est indépendante et travaille avec des équipes de professionnels qui l’aident à la promouvoir, la faire tourner en concerts et, espérons le, à devenir plus visible. Elle compose avec sa guitare, des instruments traditionnels et son ordinateur portable, laissant le soin aux experts des studios de finaliser ses belles chansons, gracieuses et légères.

Engagée, elle nous offre une chanson et un clip touchants qui fait référence au martyre de la Palestine…

Beaucoup de soin est apporté aux visuels (pochette, clips) ce qui donne encore plus de cachet à ses productions.

Elle a joué au Maroc, et récemment à Paris et tourne beaucoup encore, avec un public qui l’accueille avec chaleur.

Roufaida: Fusion and Future

A wonderful discovery — Roufaida, a young artist both original and innovative.

Of Moroccan and Dutch descent, she blends oriental sounds with electronic instruments with remarkable finesse. Her music is poetic and instantly moving.

Let’s celebrate her new album Coming Up for Air, which truly deserves your attention — it’s filled with enchanting, beautifully crafted tracks. As she told us during a video interview: “We live in an oppressive world, and music allows us to breathe — to catch bubbles of air so we don’t suffocate.”

A composer, lyricist, and performer, she works independently, supported by professional teams who help her promote her work, organize concerts, and, hopefully, gain greater visibility. She composes with her guitar, traditional instruments, and her laptop, entrusting studio experts with the task of polishing her graceful, airy songs.

Committed and thoughtful, she offers a moving song and video paying tribute to the martyrdom of Palestine.

Great care is given to her visuals — album covers, videos — which add even more character to her work.

She has performed in Morocco, recently in Paris, and continues to tour widely, always welcomed by warm audiences.
